Okay so spin the bottle may not seem like a great hens party game at the outset, but this is a full on old school game that can be played in so many different ways it is definitely worth a go.
First up you can play the traditional way. Grab some of the guys you have met in the venue (this in itself can be a challenge for your girls), and then sit in a circle and spin the bottle. The person who spun must kiss the person to which the bottle is pointing.
Secondly there is strip spin the bottle. Whoever the bottle points at must remove an article of clothing. This one is better in a private setting but is also an incentive for guys to get involved!
Finally you can exchange the ‘kiss’ for pretty much anything. The pointed at person may need to take a shot, or act out a dare or the like. Use your imagination and you will have a game that can be played at anytime and in any place. Old school but still a winner.

This hens party game takes a little bit more preparation prior to the hens party but is well worth it. Basically you will meet up with the groom prior to the evening and videotape him answering a number of questions about himself and the bride to be. The bride is then asked the questions herself on the night and then his answers are played back immediately following to see if she was right. This can be used as a fun interlude or also as a drinking game by adding forfeits and shots to the bride for incorrect answers and given to the other girls if she gets the answers right.
A slight variation that I like is to also have the groom ask the questions to the bride on the tape as well. Here are some sample questions:
- What do you think is the grooms best physical feature?
- What do you think is brides best physical feature?
- Who picked up who and how?
- What frustrates you the most about each other?
- What is his favourite position?
- What is each others most annoying habit
- Who is his favourite artist, sportsperson or the like?

If you are anything like me you can find it quite hard to remember all the names that are thrown at you in a hens party. The usual remedy to this is to wear nametags, but this can be quite boring so my recommendation is to have everyone write their name but with a twist – think about things like “Saucy Sarah”, “Devilish Dannie” etc. This is actually also a lot of fun when you hit the town as it encourages other people to speak to your group members by name and also act as a talking point as you find others discussing just how ’saucy Sarah really is’!!!

This is a very quick and simple game that reveals a lot about the girls in the group and can be quite humorous as you discover just how much and exactly what the other guests hold in their purses.
Prior to the night create a list of items that you may expect to find in a handbag or purse. On the night you will read out the items and the girls get a point for every item they have in their purse. For an added twist you can also add points if they either find the item in a friends handbag first or for double points from a stranger.

Okay this is an old school hens party game but the way to make this a bit more interesting is to add two elements. The first is the choice of prize. Head out to a novelty or erotic store and buy lacy underwear, mini-vibrators or the like.
The next thing to do is to add sticky notes to each layer of the parcel. On each layer you will need to add an action to complete. These can be anything from a dare or challenge to something as simple as to ‘pass the parcel to the youngest member of the group’.
Add a new dimension to an old game that changes it completely.

Hens Party Games - Lasso Your Man
I like this Hens Party Game a lot as it encourages interaction with the local men and can be a way to earn drinks for the night.
The only prop you need is a long rope tied into a lasso. Then, at some point in the event you will want to introduce the game and send the girls out into the bar to find some volunteers. Line the volunteers up in front of the girls and everyone gets a chance to rope their man. If they get him then they get a reward (often the guy must buy her a drink). A good way to even up the stakes is to offer the guys a chance to rope a girl for a drink as well.
