Hens Party Girls

There are two ways you can run this theme.  The first is to choose a letter and for all guest to find a costume that starts with that letter.  It is cutomary to use the first letter of the brides name or future surname, but any letter works really.  However, I would avoid X! 

Outifts:  For example, you could pick the letter ‘R’.  A guest might then come as a Robot, a Rabbit, or even a Record Producer.  This allows the guests to choose something that they are comfortable in.

Decorations:  This can be as cohesive or random as you like.  You can decorate with any objects that starts with the chosen letter or you can find a colour that starts with the letter and follow that through with balloons and streamers, etc.

Food and Drinks:  Try to keep as many items keep to the theme as possible and those that won’t fit – just rename them!  Rocket and Parmesan Salad, Raspberry Daquaris, etc..

Games:  Get the group into a circle and ask for topic suggestions.  This could be books, movies, people or my favourite ‘parts of the anatomy’.  You then go around the circle and each person has to name an item in the topic group that starts with the chosen letter.  Alternatively, if the topic is difficult then you can ask everyone to say a different name for the item stated…  its amazing how many names male anatomy has!
