I think pretty much every girl remembers the heart pounding moments when you played truth or dare for the first time. How much are you willing to really share? Will you get caught out if you lie? What horrible dare will await you?
Well you know what, somethings never change and the game of Truth or Dare goes hand in hand with the perfect Hens Party. Why? Because a Hens Party is just like a slumber party but for older girls. The same things apply now as they did then. You want to talk about boys, willies, fashion and of course learn all of the juicy gossip. What’s even better though is that unlike a twelve year olf girl we all now have some really juicy tid bits to tell!!
So I guess this leaves us with the question as to how to organise it? In my experience you can do it two ways.
1. Do it old school style in your home and just take it in turns sharing with each other.
2. Is to take it outside and focus on the dare side of things! This is my favourite.
Either way, the most important thing you need to do is to prepare at least half a dozen dares to begin with so that everyone doesn’t just stare at each other while they try to set the tone right. If this is too difficult you can even buy some pre-prepared ones that ask the questions for you!
I would also recommend having a section where you focus on the hen as well – all questions and dares go to her.. a bit evil but very fun!
