Whether you are bridesmaid for the first time, or an old hand – finding the right hen party ideas can be quite difficult.  Not necessarily because the ideas aren’t out there, but because there are so many options available.  But that is why we are here.  We have been through it all time and again and are here to help you create a Hens party that is not just another night on the town but also an event that is unique and actually suited to the bride to be. Whether you are into novelties or not, a hens party almost seems a little incomplete without at least a few knick knacks that help to create the right buzz.  

First off you want to find some Hen Party Novelties that will identify your group, and most importantly something that will identify the actual bride to be.  The benefit of this is that you will then be able to use your group power to gain entrance to clubs, garner free drinks off handsome men and basically give you an excuse for your behaviour throughout the night!

The true irony of a hens party is that while it is an all female event, men are pretty much a standard part of any proceedings.  The great thing about this activity is that you don’t even have to go to a bar to find them, they are ready and waiting for you in the way of art.

Just imagine getting together with your friends and learning how to draw an attractive naked man?  I have to admit it is a lot of fun and very funny – particularly when you see some of the drawings at the end.  The other bonus is there are a lot of places that now offer this service and will be happy to cater to you and your other guests – some even provide drinks!

So for something really different get drawing.

 The ultimate posh experience for a classy hen party is that of High Tea.  Sit back and relax while a myriad of staff members bring you endless pots of tea served with sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and scones.  It is luxurious and decadent.  The beauty of this day is that it is also extremely easy to co-ordinate.  Simply book a slot at an exclusive restaurant and spend hours there at a set price.  The only real downside of this event is that it is rather formal and is therefore not everyones cup of tea.. so make sure you know the guests that will be coming and gauge for suitability.  You will also need to make sure your activities are definitely classy hen party games.  One would not be so uncouth as to act irresponsibly.

Pretty much every woman loves fashion and what better way to bring everyone together than to organise a day with a personal fashion consultant.  The crux of this classy hen party is that the consultant will talk about general principles in finding the right styles and shapes for the season and body types, following on later with personal sessions with the girls to give them an overview on just what will suit them.  I like to also add a beautician to the day who will also give tips and a mini make-over for the bride at the very least.  During the session you can all drink champagne and discuss your own tastes and styles, and afterwards head out to the stores to use your new found knowledge of the fashion world!  This is one of my favourite classy hen party ideas as it is a perfect opportunity for the bride to really relax amid the stress of planning her wedding.  What’s more, it can be a great break for the stressed out bridesmaids too!!

The key to this day is to determine your budget and group numbers first of all as this will determine whether you need to book out a day spa or whether you will organise a therapist or two to attend your home.

The next step is to find the right salon.  You will want to find a place that offers group discounts and has the capacity to work on several girls at once and ideally has a space for you all to sit and relax between treatments.  There is really nothing like lounging around with friends in fluffy white robes drinking champagne while waiting for your next facial or massage.  Ask your friends for tips or just the local directory will give you some good directions in this.

One of THE most classy hen party ideas available would have to be wine tasting.  Whether you are a wine buff or a complete novice, this theme allows you all to escape the hustle and bustle and takes things at your own pace.  Meander around some beautiful countryside, learn about and taste fine wines, and if possible just relax over a lunch that is matched to the wines.  Pure bliss.
